STARLIGHT was presented at the Seminar on Modern Technologies for Combating Terrorism Financing in Athens, Greece.
Our partner, the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA), talked about the goals and aims of the STARLIGHT Project on the first day of the Seminar on Modern Technologies for Combating Terrorism Financing.
This event, in Athens on 7-8 February 2023, was a joint initiative of the Anti-FinTer and CTC projects under the European Commission’s Internal Security Fund.
The agenda for the event included presentations and demonstrations of security projects, as well as panel discussions on topics such as ‘AI technologies for combating terrorism financing’, ‘Abuse of crypto assets for illicit terrorist profits’, and ‘Tackling terrorism financing: Operational and LEA Perspectives.’
STARLIGHT aims to develop an all-encompassing and long-term vision for enhancing European law enforcement agencies' awareness, capability, and uptake of artificial intelligence.
STARLIGHT seeks to improve and broaden the application of AI capabilities within LEAs as its primary objective. Attending this event facilitated an opportunity for participants from different projects to learn about the latest trends and developments in the domain.
