STARLIGHT Presented at the Innovation Uptake in Policing Conference

Vilnius, Lithuania

On 19th September 2024, the STARLIGHT project was presented at the Innovation Uptake in Policing conference held at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The conference, opened by Lithuania's Minister of the Interior, Agnė Bilotaitė, and Renatas Požėla, the Lithuanian Police Commissioner General, focused on the role of technology in modern policing.

STARLIGHT's presentation, delivered by Dr. Nizar Touleimat, Project Coordinator of CEA-List, and Evaldas Bružė from partner L3CE, highlighted the project's use of AI to improve cross-border collaboration and intelligence sharing amongst European law enforcement agencies.

The event brought together law enforcement professionals and experts to discuss the adoption of innovative technologies in policing, with a focus on AI-driven solutions like those developed by STARLIGHT.

This event provided a great opportunity to share STARLIGHT's progress with key stakeholders in the law enforcement and security. As we continue our work, we remain focused on delivering practical solutions that empower law enforcement agencies to meet the evolving challenges of modern security.
