Our partner, Vicomtech, showcased the STARLIGHT project at the TECNOSEC exhibition in Madrid on May 8 and 9, 2024. TECNOSEC is a premier Spanish professional forum that brings together key stakeholders in the police, intelligence, and security technology sectors.
During the event, Dr Jorge García Castaño from Vicomtech presented STARLIGHT, providing an overview of the Crowd Monitoring and the Darkweb Image Categorisation tools. Additionally, David Ríos, Security Business Manager at Vicomtech, participated in a round table discussion on "Artificial Intelligence in Security: Process Automation in Crime, Support in Criminology and Forensics, and Handling Large Volumes of Information."
The STARLIGHT project’s participation provided a valuable opportunity to highlight its advancements and contributions in AI and secure data sharing technologies. It also facilitated engagement with various companies and law enforcement agencies, enhancing collaboration and networking within the security field.
