STARLIGHT participated in the GRACE final event on November 29th and 30th at the Spanish National Police headquarters in Madrid. This important event brought together more than 90 professionals dedicated to the fight against Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), featuring a blend of exclusive sessions for law enforcement agencies and open discussions for a broader audience.
The highlight of the second day was the afternoon panel session. Here, alongside STARLIGHT, we saw contributions from a variety of impactful initiatives like EACTDA and TOOLS4LEAS, HEROES, CYCLOPES, AVIATOR, and EMPOWER. These discussions provided rich insights into how research and operational technology in security can work together, especially in the areas of CSE and cybercrime.
Our project coordinator, Nizar Touleimat, shared STARLIGHT's advancements in using artificial intelligence to address security challenges, focusing on combating CSE. This was not just a chance to showcase our project but also an opportunity for valuable exchanges with other projects and law enforcement agencies, enhancing our collaborative efforts to tackle CSE.
STARLIGHT's role in this event reflects our commitment to leveraging AI and data analytics to support law enforcement agencies. We extend our congratulations to the GRACE consortium for their meaningful contributions and successful organisation of this event.
